Cake Commissions
If you are interested about wanting me to do a cake for you, then email me. I have no problem at all going over ideas with you and providing a quote, and you will not be added to any mailing lists or pressured to make an order. I greatly appreciate your interest!
I am located in the Greater Seattle Area, and may be able to work out shipping depending on the complexity of the cake. Delivery or pick-up available depending on time and location.
Pricing starts at $2.75 per person for buttercream, $3.50 for fondant-covered, and $4.00 for chocolate ganache. Very intricate piping work, gumpaste flowers, and similiarly time-consuming decorations are additional. Cupcakes start at $2.50 each, petit-fours at $2.00 each, and individual cakes at $3.50 each. Ask about other confections.
I’ll take cake requests on a per-case basis. I need a week’s notice to do a cake, since the baking starts several days in advance. A 50% deposit is required to book the order.
Note for non-profits: For non-profit/charity events, I may be able to work out a discounted rate or even do it pro bono if feasible for us at the time. Contact me and we can figure it out.
Policies
Payment: A 50% deposit is required to book the date and design. Payment is due in full five (5) business days before delivery. You shall assume responsibility for all collection of legal fees necessitated by default in payment.
Cancellation: Please contact Clever Cake Studio immediately if you wish to cancel your order. If production has already begun on your order, full payment is required and you will receive items paid for. Your 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Changes and Refunds: Refunds are only available if the items are damaged or if ordered goods do not match the items received, and you must contact Clever Cake Studio within five (5) business days of receipt of goods. You are responsible for making sure this invoice shows accurate event and cake details, including spelling and grammar on messages. Being error-free is a priority to us, but it is your responsibility to check the product for accuracy and offer Clever Cake Studio the first opportunity to make changes at no cost to you. Any changes that are not on this invoice will result in a new invoice being written to adjust cost. Changes made after production has begun may incur additional cost.

Ingredient Notes
Ingredients are as organic and natural as possible, including cage-free eggs from a local supplier. I am still working on getting all my ingredients from local producers, but all are top quality and as fresh as available. I strongly refrain from using artificial flavoring agents, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, cornstarch thickeners in fillings, or other lower quality elements. The fondant used is made locally and has a pleasant, vanilla-marshmallow flavor (I may add other natural extracts for special flavors).
Vegan items are 100% animal product free, and I use vegan-process cane sugar unless otherwise requested. However, it is still produced in the same kitchen as the non-Vegan items. Gluten-free or other ingredient specifications can be accommodated - please be very exact if specifying an allergy. If you have any specifications whatsoever regarding ingredients, please let me know and I will be glad to make modifications.
Sample Tasting Tray of your choice of 6 flavor combinations available for $10. If you commission a cake, this will go as credit towards the cost of the order.

These are some special flavor combinations, many of which were client creations or particular favorites of mine.
- Almond/Amaretto cake with Strawberry-Balsamic Buttercream, and Spicy Chocolate ganache
- Banana Split (choice of either doing Banana cake with fresh Strawberries, Chocolate ganache, and Vanilla buttercream fillings; or Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate cake with Banana Cream filling between each. Either has a very beautiful look for the cake slice)
- Carrot cake with Chai Spice buttercream
- Chocolate Guinness cake
- Cosmopolitan cake (Citron, Cointreau and Lime cake with Cranberry buttercream)
- Ginger Spice cake with Tart Cherries in buttercream

Flavors and Fillings
These are just a wide sampling, so if you have a flavor in mind, don’t hesitate to ask! I have access to a very wide range of flavor oils, both organic or standard, as well as real fruits, liquors, high-quality (and coincidentally vegan) chocolates, etc. I haven’t fully expanded my list yet to all possibilities.
I can also combine flavors and marble them. I’ve done some fun rainbow-swirled cakes that can be in any variety of colors and shades. The cake need not just be beautiful on the outside - the choice of colors, both in cake and filling, can have elements of chic design as well.
